Time Management whut?

Well I haven't been doing my commissions. I haven't wanted to do my commissions even though I really, really, REALLY need to finish them to take up more. I have tons of RL issues so what do I do?.......I doodle Russian mafiya porn and such.




When cranky I tend to want to draw either a) emo-shit or b) semi-porn. Hence the licking above. I wish you could see Vali's hickies but the textures covered them up.



Actual pronz this time. When I started drawing it I didn't really notice the um, sexuality of it (Honest!) It was only stepping back and looking at it that I noticed. Ah well. I really like it a lot although I'm going to hate myself over the background. I wish I could just....figure out a quicker way to do things.



This was a gag gift for a girl involved with the mafiya thing. Her boy is just ridiculously cute and a total horndog. Cracks me up all the time. Anyways, picture is sort of self-explanatory, I liked the sketch before I colored it though.



And this was a prompt at the comm to draw our boys as girls. Serro, as I suspected is still rather smoking in that clueless way of his. And Gianni....well yeah. Not happy with me.



Lastly, more Italians-in-a-Russian-universe. Exploring the family dynamics and faces of the Valentino kids. I think I did a decent job of making the three brothers look alike and Gianni and Carina (center) look alike, since they don't look like the rest of the family. I'll probably ink and color this......someday.

Ana on the left (from the boobie pic above) is actually 16. Gianni thinks Cari ought to be labeled off-limits as well.

Still not doing anything but crappy sketches. Real life sucks so I take it out on my characters.



The twins from one of my previous posts. I messed up on her a lot, she doesn't look a thing like the previous version and that irritates me. Gianni got his ass beat on by someone in his family and the only person he can turn to is his sister.



Characters for the letter game. Lena and Jason. Jason looks good but I can't seem to get the liveliness I imagine for Lena. Jason looks odd when he's not scowling (at least to me). His hand is crap and annoys me and Lena's too tall. But hey, it was a sketch that started off as just a random head so....whatever.


Vanya. A character from a girl I met through a Russian mafiya club I've gotten to be a part of (see the snugglers on the couch). Probably the nicest thing I've drawn in this whole batch. He's pretty but he can kick ass.

And a couple more characters from the Russian thing. Jasha and Drey. Rainbow gradients seem to be a good idea at 6 am.

Website designing is hard.

Okay not that this is surprising but....I haven't been working on what I'm supposed to be. In fact I did attempt to start....but as with all things, I get distracted. I decided I needed to clean out my entire web domain that my friend so graciously is letting me play with. Yup, the entire thing.

Mostly it's just a fit of belated spring cleaning I guess. I just got rid of everything. I'm streamlining it and getting rid of the junk that no one gives a damn about. I've moved my character info over to LJ so I can just link there- less coding and fussing all around for me, which is perfect.

Once I got rid of everything I decided I'd 'sketch' a quick layout.



Very quick huh? Actually it didn't take too much time. The most time was spent trying to find a damn reference for the gas lamp/lantern. I still can't find anything good so I'll do what any artist would do in such a situation....I'll make shit up. Long as it looks good, no?

The sketch to the left is gonna have so awesome underlighting- at least that's the plan. I've never really done it before but I've always thought it was awesome.

The only thing is...I wish I could keep the font I have above but I don't know how to change the font on a webpage. I'm pretty sure it's possible.....I just don't have the technical know-how.

Don't have much else to say. I'll probably screw this up too.

Time Keeps on Slipping, Slipping...

Haven't felt like doing much lately. In RL or in art. Part of it is that "lovely" time of the month and partly is spiraling back down into my head. I hate my head.



These two are twins from the same 'universe' as the cuddlers from the previous post. Gianni and Carina Valentino. Gianni doesn't like you looking at his sister.

Sketch was done in Artrage and colors were done with Artweaver. Learning the program slowly but surely. I wish there was a smudge tool but the program is still in development so that might be forthcoming.
